I worked as an executive assistant in the legal and medical research charity sectors for more than 20 years, most recently supporting a busy CEO, Chairman, and Board of Trustees. I am organised and reliable, and take great pride in producing work of a very high standard. I am extremely experienced in liaising with stakeholders at all levels, from Royal offices to Government Ministers, celebrity supporters to PR agencies and press, members of the public to medical personnel and patients. I have completed the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) Introductory Course in Proofreading and am an experienced line manager and event manager.
I offer a professional business service to those who need help, whether on a flexible or longer-term basis. I am used to supporting busy people with many demands on their time; choosing me as your virtual assistant gives you access to the skills and experience that I've built up over the last 25 years.
I am an accredited VA through industry leader APVA (Association of Professional Virtual Assistants), having been through a strict and rigorous accreditation process. In order to gain accreditation I have to show, amongst other things, that I have business insurance and a number of necessary registrations in place, as well providing my clients with solid contracts and terms of business.
I have professional liability insurance and am registered with the Information Commissioner's Office for data protection.
I work closely with a bilingual virtual assistant based in Paris, France. She provides professional VA services and notably is able to turn around French-English translation extremely quickly and at very competitive rates.
